I really like, love margherita pizza. However generally I simply crave a white pie like nothing else. It’s so easy with just a few totally different white cheeses however my goodness, it’s actually one thing else.

It may very well be the dollops of ricotta. The melted mozzarella. Or the garlicky-olive-oil goodness with a touch of warmth from the crushed crimson pepper flakes. Possibly it’s all the above.

Chungah Rhee

Components:

  • 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 pound pizza dough, do-it-yourself or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed crimson pepper flakes
  • Kosher salt and freshly floor black pepper, to style
  • 6 ounces recent mozzarella, torn into small items
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan
  • Recent basil leaves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 levels F. Flippantly coat a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil.
