Scott Jaschik, Editor, is among the three founders of Inside Increased Ed. With Doug Lederman, he leads the editorial operations of Inside Increased Ed, overseeing information content material, opinion items, profession recommendation, blogs and different options. Scott is a number one voice on increased training points, quoted often in publications nationwide, and publishing articles on schools in publications similar to The New York Instances, The Boston Globe, The Washington Publish, Salon, and elsewhere. He has been a choose or screener for the Nationwide Journal Awards, the On-line Journalism Awards, the Folio Editorial Excellence Awards, and the Schooling Writers Affiliation Awards. Scott served as a mentor in the neighborhood faculty fellowship program of the Hechinger Institute on Schooling and the Media, of Academics Faculty, Columbia College. He’s a member of the board of the Schooling Writers Affiliation. From 1999-2003, Scott was editor of The Chronicle of Increased Schooling. Scott grew up in Rochester, N.Y., and graduated from Cornell College in 1985. He lives in Washington.
