New Hampshire’s Mount Washington data snowiest June ever

A New Hampshire mountain recognized for its excessive climate circumstances has recorded its snowiest June in 91 years of recordkeeping.

Snowfall on Saturday atop Mount Washington introduced the entire quantity to eight.4 inches for the month of June, in accordance with the Mount Washington Observatory.

However with a return to hotter climate, practically all of it had melted by early Monday.

The observatory posted on Fb that statistically talking, the final snowfall of the season usually happens in early to mid-June most years.

A quasi-stationary low sat over the area, delivering snow early each day of the month.

The observatory is on the summit of the Northeast’s highest mountain, at 6,288 ft.
