Final week, Arctic Monkeys introduced they’d be releasing their first new album in 4 years. Now, the band has unveiled its first single. Titled “There’d Higher Be A Mirrorball,” the track is moody, nostalgic and melodic, with a tinge of classic pop vibes sprinkled in for good measure. The Monkeys shared a cinematic video to accompany the track.
The brand new album, The Automotive, is out Oct. 21 on Domino Data. The ten-track venture is the follow-up to 2018’s Tranquility Base Lodge + On line casino, Arctic Monkeys’ sixth-straight No. 1 debut within the U.Ok. and the fastest-selling vinyl album there since 1993. The Automotive was produced by longtime collaborator James Ford and recorded in Paris, London and Suffolk, U.Ok.
Arctic Monkeys have worldwide touring on faucet by means of the tip of the 12 months, together with appearances on the first L.A. and South American editions of the Primavera Sound pageant in September and November, respectively. A nine-show run in Australia begins Dec. 29 in Sydney.
