Ace Frehley
Bear’s Den Showroom (Inside Seneca Niagara Resort & On line casino)
Niagara Falls, NY
August 13, 2022
Ace Frehley didn’t disappoint final Saturday evening, Aug. 13, when he performed a sold-out present on the intimate Bear’s Den Showroom in Niagara Falls, NY. Frehley, greatest often known as the unique lead guitarist and co-founding member of KISS, performed a mixture of materials from each his solo profession and KISS classics.
The present obtained underway simply earlier than 9 PM with Rip It Out – off Frehley’s first solo report in 1978. He wasted no time and went into three KISS songs – Parasite, Strutter, and Rocket Experience. Backing up Frehley was a band he described as “the most effective band” he’s ever performed with – guitarists Jeremy Ashbrock and Ryan Spencer Cook dinner, bassist Zach Throne, and drummer Matt Starr.
The group stood for Frehley’s complete set, which lasted almost 70 minutes. Some highlights included Rock Troopers, New York Groove (together with his light-up guitar!), and Shock Me (Frehley introduced out his signature smoking guitar for this one!) The 15-song set ended with the encore Deuce.
All in all, it was a fantastic evening and nobody appeared despondent. For me, I couldn’t have considered a greater strategy to return to the U.S. live performance scene after being away for almost 2.5 years attributable to border closures and different points on account of the pandemic.
