Mountain Movers: April 30, 2022 Tubby’s (Kingston, NY)

A lot has modified in Kingston because the begin of Covid. Most of the long-standing hubs of the neighborhood (RIP BSP, Boitson’s, Tony’s) sit empty whereas revitalization and housing costs march onward. Tubby’s, fortunately, has not solely weathered the storm, however appears to be steadily gaining steam.

At its core Tubby’s is an area grasp. On any given night it might be the gathering spot for native members of the LGBTQ+ neighborhood, Simpsons followers, Deadheads, Goths or simply of us in search of a chilly beer after work.
