LINDA JONES
was born in Newark, New Jersey. She began singing in her household’s gospel group, the Jones Singers on the age of six. Her first recording was “Lonely Teardrops” underneath the title of Linda Lane on Cub Data in 1963. She was discovered acting at an area membership by songwriter Jerry Harris who launched her to producer George Kerr.
