MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.2 earthquake rocked Abra on early Sunday morning, in line with the Philippine Institute of Seismology and Volcanology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the earthquake, whoich struck at 2:27 a.m., was tracked by Phivolcs some 12 kilometers southwest of Pilar, Abra.
Phivolcs mentioned harm and aftershocks are anticipated.
Phivolcs added that the temblor was an aftershock of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake that hit Abra on July 27.
“That is an aftershock of the 27 July 2022 M7.0 Northwestern Luzon Earthquake,” mentioned Phivolcs.
